Adolphe Chenevière
Adolphe Chenevière was a Swiss writer, born in 1855. He led a quiet life studying literature. In the 1890s, he suddenly started writing novels, which sold very well, but – just as suddenly – he stopped.
His only piece of work translated into English is ‘Tonton’, a story about the sadness of war. He died in 1917.
